Philadelphia Cricket Club (Wissahickon)An acclaimed A.W. Tillinghast masterpiece, this private Philadelphia club has hosted the U.S. Amateur and multiple USGA championships.
The Wissahickon course at Philadelphia Cricket Club, a private club in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, was designed by Golden-Age architect A.W. Tillinghast and opened in 1922. The course is known for its rolling parkland terrain and strategic bunkering, characteristic of Tillinghast's work. It has a significant championship pedigree, having hosted the U.S. Amateur, multiple U.S. Four-Ball Championships, and the PGA Professional Championship. A comprehensive restoration by Keith Foster brought the course back to its Tillinghast roots.
