Frequently asked questions
The short version of how Found Fairways works.
Is this legit?
Yes. Found Fairways is a directory: we surface real charity auctions and outings and link you to the host site to take part. We verify each listing is reachable, open, and future-dated before we publish it.
How does bidding or registration work?
It all happens on the host's site — Charitybuzz, GolfStatus, or the club/charity's own page. Click through from any listing and you bid or register there, with them.
Where does my money go?
To the charity, through the host. Found Fairways never collects your payment and isn't a party to the transaction.
Is my bid or donation tax-deductible?
Sometimes — it depends on the event and what you receive in return. With charity auctions, the amount you pay above an item's fair-market value can often be deductible; with outings, the portion of your entry above the value of the golf and perks may qualify. The host or charity can usually tell you the deductible amount. We're not tax professionals — please confirm with a qualified tax advisor before claiming anything.
How do we choose which courses to feature?
We prioritize courses worth the detour — Top-100 rankings, notable architects, clubs that are otherwise hard to play — then confirm the beneficiary and a live path to play.
Where do the photos come from?
We gather course images and details from public sources across the web and link back to the host; we don't claim ownership. If you hold rights to an image, logo, or other material and would rather we not display it, email hello@foundfairways.com and we'll take it down promptly.
How often do new listings appear?
New opportunities surface all the time. Set your preferences and we'll send a tailored blast whenever ones that fit come up — so you never miss your shot at a course you've always wanted to play.
A logo or listing shouldn't be here — how do I remove it?
Email hello@foundfairways.com and we'll take it down promptly. See our Takedown page.
